Date: Saturday, June 6, 2009 From: Dale Dancis : ddancis@nyc.rr.com Subject: Target: Computer Management in Library: Middle School Dear Friends, We are planning to receive new computers in our middle school library this September. At this point, I was trying to imagine how to schedule both classes and individual students for both library use and computer use. We do have flexible scheduling which I hope will still be in place next year. Questions: How do you manage your computers in the library? What structures are in place so that students and teachers have access? Do you plan Internet safety classes? How much teaching do you do about the computer programs, or do most students come down individually ready to use Word, Power Pt etc. Thanks for your help. I will post a hit if there is interest.
