[LM_NET] Tar: Jose Argueto Author Visit

Has anyone had Jose Argueto visit their school ? I know that he lives in  
California.Our schools has been given some money for an author and we are  
looking into having him as a presenter. We have a large student population 
that  is from El Salvador and he would be a perfect fit.The only problem is 
that he  is pretty expensive, as we are in New York and on top of his fee we 
would  have to pay for his travel expenses. If you have had him we would like 
to  know if he is an awesome presenter.
 
Also , I was wondering if there was anyone in the neighboring area that  
would be interested in splitting the cost (We were thinking some time in April 
 as he is a poet as well.)
 
And lastly, does anyone have a great suggestion for a hispanic author that  
is good for K-4 ?
