I feel like Bowie's "Changes" is playing in the background CONSTANTLY now.
Due to our district's dire financial outlook, they reconfigured schools in
our area last week.

Our HS, which has been 9-12, will become 7-12, and we will serve approx. 850
students (up from 620.) Obviously, there are going to be some books moved
around, too.

I'm interested in hearing from others who have gone through this,
specifically:

1. how did you integrate your collection, or did you?
2. how do you insure patrons check out age-appropriate materials? (i.e., do
you tag the spines with a sticker that reflects some sort of rating system?)
3. did you discard duplicates, or keep them in boxes in storage? (I'm asking
because we don't know for sure how long this 7-12 configuration will last.)

If I get enough responses, I will post a HIT. Thanks in advance for your
replies,
Liz
