I'll probably be inundated by emails from ProQuest for this (grin), but
has anyone used both NewsBank Historical newspapers and Proquest's? We
currently have the latter, but would save a small fortune by switching to
the former. Initially it doesn't look as extensive, judging by the
timeline, but on running a couple searches, I found key articles, even
though the subject wasn't in the timeline. It also pulls from some lesser
newspapers, as well as more prominent, but I don't see that as a bad thing
necessarily.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? If you use Newsbank, are your
students able to find what they need?

Thanks!
