An English teacher is wondering whether a story has been plagiarized. Does anyone know of a story that sounds anything like this: A prince grows a tail which the family tries to keep secret. The tailor to whom the secret has been revealed is advised by a wise man to bury the secret. After doing so, reeds sprout from the spot. When a whistle is made from the reeds, it sings the words of the secret. Thank you, wise and wonderful group, for contemplating this one!
