In the case of Grisham, he was a long-time holdout against publishing his books in e-book or Kindle format. I read an article that says he is close to signing a deal that will allow his books to be made available on the Kindle though. I have read a few discussions about authors who, for whatever reasons, do not wish to participate in e-book and/or Kindle publishing. -- Michelle Walker Co-Moderator, LM_NET and El-Announce with LM_NET Select Librarian, Hamilton Union High School District 620 Canal Street / PO Box 488 Hamilton City, CA 95951 (530) 826-3261 http://www.glenn-co.k12.ca.us/ham-hs/library.html michellekwalker@gmail.com On Mon, Mar 2, 2009 at 7:29 AM, Patsy McLaughlin <patsym@springisd.org> wrote: > Actually, my experience (I have the original Kindle) is that books by bestselling >authors sometimes are not available on the Kindle for a while.
