Here in NW Ga, we have not had snow in years and years. Floyd and Chattoaga
Counties are like a little hole in a donut- the snow circulates completely
around us in a circle. I married a man from south GA 4 years ago who had
never seen snow (no kidding) in a real amount (except once in the Smokies).
He was excited when he moved here because we (USED TO) get snow regularly.
Since he moved north, it has snowed TWICE in his old home town (8 inches
there yesterday) and has yet to snow here. We have not had snow in a real
amount since January of 2003 and none you could "play in" since 1998 or
1999. You guys don't know how luck you are! I miss snow!! The kids who
live here now can not imagine what it was like when we tell them abou the
"old days " in the 1970s. 80s and 90s when it used to snow in NW Ga. They
thik we are crazy. LOL
