Thanks to all who responded so quickly. This is the list I received so far: I am a Phoenix for two voices and Big Talk: poems for four voices both also by Fleischman, Paul. Not sure if this would work, but there is a book called What is Goodbye? by Jacqueline Woodson. The book has multiple pairs that consist of two poems sharing the same title, one told by a boy and the other told by a girl. The two narrators are brother and sister, and their older brother (I believe) has died. I hope that you can understand my description and that it works for your teacher! there is a series in Spanish and English. Four books I think; one title has the word tomatoes in it. My kids love Paul fleischman's Big Talk - Poems for 4 voices and I am Phoenix, another of his 2 voice books. Look into John Ciardi's YOU READ TO ME, I'LL READ TO YOU, if you can find it.
