I had that same thing happen when I was Circulation Manager at a college 
here.  I had a senior  boy who was really upset that his professor actually 
had on Closed Reserve something that he:  1) could not take from the library 
and 2) that it wasn't available for his hometown librarian to pull, copy and 
highlight for him to pick up when he went home on the weekends.   He bragged 
that he never had to use our library....and that his hometown librarian did 
everything for him. I asked if her name was also going to be on his diploma 
since she obviously did most of his work for him.
