Good info, Curtis, though I'm not going back and changing all my 440s to 490s (I'm sure MARC Magician could do it relatively easily) since my catalog software (Follett Cat+) still recognizes the 440 field. I *will* change my templates to eliminate the 440 field now that it's been "obsoleted." Tom Thomas T.
