In Hong Kong, such a small place in the the whole world, we have the name as "teacher-librarian" from the very beginning. the rationle behing is the pre-requisit of a librarian in a primary or secondary school is a qualified teacher with two year full-time teaching expereince. therefore every TL should be a teacher before she became a librarian. librarian is value-added "feature" of a teacher. therefore, i was very happy to be called as teacher-librarian from the very start of my career. 2009/3/6 Gail Grainger <ggrainger@deweybrowse.org> > Leslie, > I think I agree with it.
