I finished the Graveyard Book as well and see Gaiman having another
movie made from this one as well (Coraline). I found it to run along
similar lines of Harry Potter where there was an establishment that
wanted to end Bod's life as a young child so they could continue to
bring darkness.
Almost similar to a "DaVinci Code" as well where there is an underground
movement to promote darkness.
I was disappointed when the book ended simply because I wanted it to
continue on into Bod's life.
However, I could have completely missed the boat on the Jacks.

Subject: The Graveyard Book

I just finished reading the Graveyard Book. I definitely enjoyed it and
thought it was a great read, but I think I missed something. Can anyone
explain to me about the Jacks? I gather Bod was the boy who would bring
about their downfall, but I just didn't get the whole Jacks thing at
all.
Any enlightenment would be appreciated!
