[LM_NET] improving vocab

One of the goals we have developed for our accreditation is to improve vocabulary 
for our 7-12 school.  Any ideas that have been successful?  We are planning to use 
the One Book-One School during this time.

Is it necessary to have a list of vocab words for these grade levels or to 
encourage building a vocab list as we go or perhaps a combination?

Ideas gratefully accepted off list.  Thank you.
