Our college prep English class is creating a wiki on local history this
semester, researching in groups and communicating through the discussion
boards. We are using wikispaces, and have the wiki set to private, so only
those with a password can see or post to the pages. And the English teacher
and I are monitoring all posts, so we are aware of anything inappropriate
right away. When the wiki is completely finished, we will make it public.
I like that the students can work on their project without worrying about
the world looking on.
