Naomi and all, I have used this type of speed dating with the piles on each table
in different genres. Each group had to keep a sheet of paper and write the genre
they identified by the table number on their paper. At the end, groups gave and
defended their answers and then everyone got to check out a book from the table of
their choice. This was a quick fun way to review different genres to try to get
them to vary their reading choices a bit. I just had to run back to the shelves
between classes and collect more books to re-stock the tables
