[LM_NET] Fargo, ND flood fight

Please keep the residents of Fargo, North Dakota and Moorhead, Minnesota 
(and surrounding communities) in your thoughts and prayers throughout 
the weekend.  The Red River of the North is projected to crest at the 
historical level of 42-43 feet on Saturday afternoon.  Dikes were 
originally built for the 39 - 40 foot crest and volunteers have spent 
the last 3 days building earth and sandbag dikes to hold back a 43 foot 
crest.  There are 6 schools in Fargo that could be flooded if the dike 
breaks.  The large library in Moorhead, MN is also in danger of flooding 
if the dike breaks.
The largest hospital in Fargo is evacuating patients and an evacuation 
order has been given for many residents in Moorhead and Fargo already.  
There are a couple of Facebook pages set up to help get information out 
about the flood (Fargo-Moorhead flood information and Fargo-Moorhead 
volunteer network).
