I am realizing that to keep my fourth grade nonreaders (and very low readers) engaged in the library, I need to have a lot of books attractive to them. C D B is good. So are the Look-Alike books. There are some I Spy-type books with history and nature themes that nonreaders can use. Books like How Are You Peeling - Foods with Moods are good. I'm staying clear of the East Reader format books because by now they shy away from them for free choice. What are books you find that the older nonreaders can enjoy? I'll post a hit. Thanks!
