A teacher here would like to use Barrio Boy this with a sophomore class. Our school is 80% Mexican-American and majority immigrant. If you are using it at your school... Is it well received by the students? Are there any parts of the book that might offend or trigger complaints? Are there any creative or original ways your teachers are using it?
