Last week we had Alane Ferguson, author of 35 books (Christopher Killer,
The Angel of Death and The Circle of Death ... for YA) here for an
author visit. It was everything we had hoped it would be...and more!
The students were enthralled as she talked about her writing, her life
and her ambitions. She also showed pictures of autopsy's...cool (and
gruesome). I can't tell you how many kids left here sure they were
going to be an author. She encouraged them all!
We shared her with another high school and a middle school (she has also
written a lot of middle and elementary level books) in our county.
