Did you get your card at your bank? I bought one for my daugther to take to
San Diego last summer, and it was wonderful! I was handed the card before I
walked out of the bank. The ones at Walmart cost $4.95, and this one did
cost me $10.00, but I felt much safer using it through my bank. I never had
to go to a machine to check balances, I could online and check the balance.
She explained everything to me (could only put money on it so many times,
expired in so much time, and how to check balances online). She made sure
the card was active for me before I left the bank. I am sorry you got such
a crappy deal!
