[LM_NET] TAR: Trying to find a title

Hi all!  A student approached me this morning looking for a book, whose main
character is a mouse who learns to read while listening to a classroom, and
ends up saving her parents from being poisoned.

I brainstormed as many mouse books as I could, but none fit the bill - can
anyone identify this mouse and her book?
