What a quick response! The answer was Bearsie Bear and the Surprise Sleepover
Party by Bernard Waber. That’s what happens when you try every spelling you can
think of EXCEPT IE.

THANKS!

Subject: [LM_NET] TAR: looking for a picture book

I have a patron looking for a picture book. He says different animals take
turns knocking at the door and asking if they can come in. Some of the
names are cowsy cow, moosey moose, pigsy pig and the last one is a skunk...
He believes the house belongs to bearsy bear. Any ideas???
