I've looked through the archives, but the books that were mentioned previously weren't quite what I was looking for. I'm looking for books geared towards 5th or 6th graders about a main character who has survived child abuse and dealing with the anger, and his/her life is now o.k. I've looked on Follett and Amazon, but most end just when the child finally admits something is going on and first gets help. The student I am looking for also has a lower reading level and is almost a non-reader.
