[LM_NET] Author Visit Toni Buzzeo

Greeting Everyone!

On April 20th & 21st we were honored to have Toni Buzzeo, nationally known
children's book author and library media specialist, visit our school.  Toni
shared personal stories and captivated the children with such stories as Our
Librarian Won't Tell Us ANYTHING! and The Sea Chest. Toni shares her life
story as she reveals how ideas for her books spring from parts of her own
life, how she turns life experiences into published stories. Toni shared and
made a personal connection with our students that they will remember for
years to come. She talked to individual students and groups of students and
autographed books during her visit. Our children and staff are still asking
for Toni's books!

I would recommend her as a visiting author again and again. She brings the
children into her life’s journey of becoming a writer and getting her books
published books beautifully. In addition, it was a wonderful personal
experience for me to meet Toni.  She gave me inspiration for a difficult
situation I am experiencing in my own life. I feel like I could call her or
email her and talk to her about anything anytime. Toni is the salt of the
earth and a wonderful visiting author.
