[LM_NET] Quotations about the use of Blackboards (Chalkboards)

I've been looking ... unsuccessfully, for some quotations from the 18/19
century about the use (good or bad) of blackboards/chalkboards in schools /
classrooms. 

Have done the usual searches ..... ;-(
