[LM_NET] moving library to a portable?

My principal is considering moving me out of the main building into a
portable.  She wants to have the dividing wall knocked out that makes the
portable 2 classrooms, so I would have the full building for the library.
She thinks this would give me more space than I have now.  I'm planning to
measure my current space and a portable to see if that is actually the
case.  I have major reservations about this for many reasons, not the least
of which would be using my summer vacation to work on the actual move.  Has
anyone ever made a move like this?  Is anyone in a portable already?  I'm
meeting with teh school leadership committee next week to discuss the plan
with them and would really like to have some pros and cons from people
already in this situation before I have to plead my case.
