[LM_NET] GEN: Reference shelf reply

I keep all of my history, science, psych, etc. encyclopedia sets as
reference because I hate to lose a volume because of cost and the ability to
search between volumes.

Some of my single volume books have been moved to the regular shelves but I
do keep some on the reference shelf because of lack of sources for a topic
so I at least have one book on that source. The cost of a high priced
replacement book keeps me from putting a single volume on the regular shelf.

Yes, these books are used less than the regular shelved books but I am not
ready to put all my reference books on regular check out. I do let a student
check a reference book out over night if needed.
