oohhh. Lost classroom books checked out to the teacher. Teacher complains that kids signing books out from the classroom collection too much trouble. One classroom missing 52 books. So here is what I did. I give the classroom teacher a printout of all the books checked out to the classroom. one or two books go missing, chalk that up to the cost of doing business. Couple dozen- I let the teacher know that I will be submitting the lost book list to the principal. What usually happens is that the principal comes up with additional funds to cover the replacement cost- also suddenly its not too much trouble to have the kids sign out the books from the classroom.
