[LM_NET] SEC-Do you still subscribe to microfiche for periodicals?

I need some advice.  This is my first year in a high school library (12 year
prior in an elementary school).  My budget has been cut 1/3 for next school
year.

We receive several of our periodicals also in microfiche.  This year the
only microfiche that have been used are the Newsweek, Time, and U.S. News
and World Report for research papers.  Is there a need to receive the
periodicals in microfiche form when all of the magazines are on the EBSCO
databases that we also subscribe to?  Or should I only renew the Newsweek,
Time, and U.S. news and World Report in microfiche because students do
request articles from these magazines?
