[LM_NET] ED.gov: Comment on Education Reform

The U.S. Secretary of Education is inviting people to comment on education
reform on the ED.gov blog.  The current question is "Many states in
America are independently considering adopting
internationally-benchmarked, college and career-ready standards.  Is
raising standards a good idea?  How should we go about it?"

The very first comment is from an elementary library media specialist. 
This looks like a great opportunity for others to chime in about the value
of school library programs and the AASL Standards for the 21st Century
Learner in a venue that will be read by the Secretary of Education and
U.S. Department of Education staff.
