I just got a smartboard in my library! (yesterday afternoon!) It is a hand
me down from a teacher who got a new one but I'll take what I can get. I
feel like a kid with a new toy. I've been showing powerpoints on it and
searching the web and basically playing with it to see what it can do. And
now I'm anxious to really start using it for library purposes.

I've searched the archives and looked on the Internet and found lots of
cool lesson plans but they are either for elementary schools or for subject
specific lessons. I would like to see some lessons about library research.
Maybe a notetaking smartboard lesson. Or something about the research
process. I don't have any clickers to go with it so just want some lessons
kids can interact with by touch.

If anyone has any smartboard library lessons that they would be willing to
share, I would really appreciate it. I want to really amp this up and use
it as much as I can before the end of the school year. Then I'll have a
better idea of how it can be used more effeciently and I can plan over the
summer.

Thank you all so much.

Nancy
