LM_Net'ers,

Just a quick clarification to anyone who took note of my query a few
weeks back about purchasing an RF tag security system for my library:

Integrated Technology Group made quoted me just over $4K for the
system, which included 20,000 tags for the items in my collection.
(Tthat was the price I mentioned in this forum - see original email,
below). I decided to make the purchase and my school had already
sent payment and ITG had already cashed the check when the ITG
representative noticed an error in the original quote.

The new price tag will be just over $6K, still a bargain compared to
an RFID system, but a large enough difference that I am having to
reconsider how essential this purchase is. (Times are tough all
over, I suppose.)

I value the information that I receive from this forum, so I just
thought I should try to correct the misinformation I had passed along.

Cheers,

Beau Cain, M.Ed., M.S.
