Hi, all. I hope someone else is having these same problems. Our smart board projectors are overheating and blowing bulbs. They have replaced 8 this year (under warranty) and we just go them a few weeks before school began this school year. However, the manufacturer is not willing to replace the projectors themselves because they are putting it off as our problem. They say we are doing something wrong, but we have complied with all their suggestions to eliminate this from happening. The projector is a unifi 45 from SMARTechnologies that goes with the 600i series for educators. (The whiteboard has an arm that mounts above the whiteboard, allowing it to be one unit for easy installation.) We are told they are not making these projectors anymore because it will not fit on the overhanging arm of the newly designed series. We are hoping to find this is a design problem and require them to replace the projector and arm with the new design. Is anyone else having problems with overheating projectors?
