I had a parent send in a check for a book today. In the memo line it said, "book that was stolen" from their child. At least I got the money. He then went on to say that his daughter never had this book at home. He said when he went to school kids would sign out books in other kid's name. I politley told him we no longer sign out books with a signature, but each students has their own secret number. He still was not happy, but grumbled and left without saying another word. YOu just got to love it....
