A follow-up article to one previously posted, about the campaign in South Africa by the lobbying group Equal Education, which is making school libraries and librarians a central theme in its campaign for high quality education based on rights enshrined in the 1994 constitution. A central figure in this campaign, Zachie Achmat, headed the Treatment Action Campaign, which fought in court and on the streets for the right to treatment for HIV/AIDS, based on the constitution.
