I've got an issue that warrants a creative solution. :) I supervise study hall all day in the media center, and by the end of the day it's a pigsty. The easy solution would be to ask students to pick up after themselves after every class period, but I'm usually caught up in something and don't even realize what time it is until the bell has rung and students are long gone. It doesn't seem fair to only ask students at the end of the day when I finally take a good look around, and I don't think our maintenance staff should have to pick up this horrendous mess every day. Since I don't know who's leaving the mess or when, I can't target the perpetrators. Help!
