Dear All, The use of paper and ink in our library is skyrocketing. And, of course, in these lean times we are all looking for ways to conserve. In the past, our library charged students for copies and printing above a certain number per day but we discontinued that practice, in part because it's hard to track. Maybe we need to revisit it if, for no other reason, so that students think before printing large quantities of things that then end up in the trash or recycling. What do you do in your schools? Are printing and copying services you offer students free-of-charge? If you do charge, what are your rates and how do you track it (we do not have individual log-ins for students)? Thanks so much and I'll post a HIT if anyone else needs the info. Paula J.
