I'm 99% sure that I know the answer to this, but I could really use some documentation/citations/anecdotes about it. A teacher wants to create their own recordings of books to be used only as a read-along with the print book that they own. These are books for which no recording is available commercially. They will be used by ELL students and the book and recording will always be used together. Can they do this? I said no, but they asked what the difference between that and a read-aloud was.
