I've had a couple of requests for a hit, so here's what I've received. :) There are a number of different Dewey numbers that people are assigning to yearbooks, listed below in numerical order: 032/General encyclopedic works in English 050/General serial publications (3 people responded that their yearbooks are cataloged this way) 317.58/General statistics of North America 371.8/Schools and their activities/students 372 or 373/elementary or secondary education, followed by locations from Dewey table 2 (abridged 14 edition) 900's/local history (so, I think that my yearbooks, in MN, would be 977.6007) Ann Carstens Media Specialist Holy Family Catholic High School 8101 Kochia Lane Victoria, MN 55386 (952) 443-4659 carstensa@hfchs.org "Research shows the highest achieving students attend schools with good library media centers."
