I asked about information about Runescape and only received two replies. I have
included the replies and my original request. I recommended having the club to my
principal but I will have to see how she responds.

Thanks,
Kris McGlaun

We do not allow any of these types of games on the computers at the schools. My son
who is now 14 went through a Runescape phase. It is highly addicting. He is now
into WOW (World of Warcraft) another highly addictive game but we have time limits
on it for him. I would make sure that you get the parents permission for this game
and make sure to turn off settings so that no one can talk to each other over the
Web. My son did have one guy talk to him about personal things. I hope this helps.

We don't allow students to play Runescape at school because we have a policy that
does not allow students to play on-line games that have chat features. No control
on who they are talking to within the game and do not want to be responsible for a
student connecting with someone who could cause problems down the line for them.
