Thanks for the help finding low lexile, middle school interest level books! I found High Noon to be most helpful for my students. Here are the responses I received: Have you tried StoneArch books? There are some really low graphic novels, ex. Frankenstein, that are working at the high school. High Noon has some books that are only 20-30 pages. I'll love to see a hit.
