Original post: I have "clear glossy label protectors" from a library supply company that don't like to stick to books with reinforced/library bindings. Please reply to me directly if you can recommend 2" x 3" label protectors that don't peel off of library-bound books. Responses: I purchased the more expensive 2 mil, rounded edge version from Highsmith and I've never had a problem with them and they've held up now for 13 years. I use Highsmith #15748 protectors. They are 1.5" x 4", but I think they have similar ones in different sizes. We use Scotch Brand No. 845 Book Tape that is 2" wide and then cut it the desired height. We also will cut a piece in half to use for covering the call number and genre labels. 3M book tape Demco non-glare label protectors Demco makes great "ultra-aggressive label protectors." Thanks!
