Tonight at conferences, I catually had several parents stop to visit about their childrenšs book choices. I had two issues that I would like to have some help addressing. One parent would like their child to read and take tests (a la Accelerated Reader). I found one site www.bookadventure.org, but would like some others if possible. The student is a VERY high-functioning third grader who has already skipped a grade. The other question that arose is similar to this. We have several third graders who read quite a bit above grade level. Their parents would like some titles that will challenge them, but still be age-appropriate. Any ideas would be appreciated!
