Another favorite with cream cheese, very popular everywhere.
Sopapilla Cheesecake
2 cans crescent rolls
1 1/4 C sugar
2 boxes creamed cheese (the large one)
1 t vanilla
1 t cinnamon
1 stick butter
In a 9X12 pan, roll out one can of crescent rolls, smoothing the seams.
Mix together cream cheese, vanilla, and 1 C sugar.
Spread over crescent roll dough.
Unroll second can of crescent rolls over the cream cheese mixture.
Melt 1 stick of butter and pour over rolls and cream cheese.
Mix cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar and sprinkle over top of "cake."
Bake 350 for 30 minutes.
