Dear Great Brain,
A few weeks ago there was a wonderful list on this Listserv for kids who are
young and need that safer content, but who are reading way up above the norm for
their age.
My current young reader is almost 8 and is reading The Warriors and the Percy
Jackson books. His parents are looking for books that will meet his reading
personality. He likes action adventure. Chronicles of Narnia are too slow for
him. His mom says the gets the action but doesn't always grasp the motivation and
emotions.
If anyone has the other list I'd love to pass that along to this family. If you
have any general suggestions, I'd love that too.
Thanks so much and weren't the recipes fun? My first year to do that and it was a
real treat.
