Dear Colleagues,

Did you know today (day after Thanksgiving) is 
Native American Day?  It is not the date I'd 
choose for such a designation....  Today, I 
blogged about that a little, but my primary 
reason for today's blog post (and this email) is 
to tell you about a new blog by my colleague, 
Matthew Sakiestewa Gilbert. Matt is Hopi. He's on 
faculty here with me in American Indian Studies. 
His area of research and writing is boarding 
schools, but, he's also doing work on Hopi long distance runners.
