[LM_NET] TAR: Intro to library letter for parents of K

Hi All -

I am seeing my kindergartners for the first time this year (yes I know - SO SAD 
that it is just now happening).  Right now, I am reading stories and doing 
mini-lessons on some basic library skills.  I want to let them start checking out 
books in January but our Kindergarten teachers are FREAKING out because they think 
the kids are too little to get books (grrr...).  Anyway, I am trying to take baby 
steps and thought it would be a a good idea to send home an informational letter to 
K parents telling about the library and how many books K kids can get, importance 
of reading aloud to kids each night, etc.  Does anyone have a letter/brochure like 
this that they would be willing to share?
