We are reconsidering having all 5th graders read Al Capone Does My Shirts for a
Read & Feed event because a few staff members have voiced some objections to the
content of the book. They are questioning if it might be too mature for students
and if all of the language by the main character is appropriate. I would
appreciate your thoughts on this if you have or have not used this book for any
reason.

Thanks in advance for your help!
