I missed the original question, but for Vet sources, you can also try Agricola from the National Agricultural Library. http://agricola.nal.usda.gov/ "Database produced by the National Agricultural Library that indexes literature of veterinary medicine. It contains citations to journal articles (many with abstracts), government publications, technical reports, and conference proceedings. Coverage is 1970-present. " PubMed is mainly human in coverage, (the old Index Medicus) but has a select group of Vet materials. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez/ "PubMed provides access to more than 17 million citations related to clinical and experimental medicine; genetics, microbiology; reproductive biology; and veterinary medicine. More than 170 core veterinary titles are indexed in PubMed. Coverage is from 1950-present.
