A 4th grade student turned in a story which the teacher says sounds familiar to her. It's not ringing any bells for me. A recurring phrase throughout is ..."and nothing more". A creaking door is opened and various animals go in a house and come out either with something or doing something "and nothing more" until, finally, the person goes in and comes back out with a Halloween costume. The child ended it with the phrase "The end and nothing more." Any thoughts? Thanks!
